LEARN THE SECRETS OF THE OCEAN
The ocean is a great teacher and guide to help us gain a better understanding of our nature, and nature itself.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned water person, we work with your comfort and skill level. More than just standing on a board, or perfecting a new trick, we present techniques to allow you to fully embrace and enjoy the natural rhythms and power of the water, tides and wind.

Surf Lessons, Leveled Up.
* We use high quality fiberglass surf boards (not styrofoam).
​
* We listen to the "mana" and choose the optimal location based on the day's weather and your skill level.
​
* We opt for pristine beaches and uncrowded breaks (avoiding the touristy spots at the cove and the break wall). And we're fully permitted, insured and safety certified.
PRIVATE & GROUP LESSONS
For all levels and ages.
Teaching since 1999, Steve loves introducing beginners to surfing for their first time, as much as he enjoys working with experienced surfers to help improve technique, stamina, flexibility and controlled breath work. Each surfing session lasts about 90-minutes and leaves from a designated beach location, based on conditions and skill level.

HOLISTIC RETREATS
Custom, curated experiences by land and sea.
During these multi-day, customized experiences, we'll explore various beaches and breaks, while deepening our connection with the Aina (energy of the land). We also practice breathe work to achieve greater states of relaxation, stamina, presence and joy.
You'll be steeped in the the magic of Aloha, Aina and Kai. Our time together can include powerful breath work, underwater rock running, visits to other pristine local spots, sacred chanting with recording artist Zelie Duvauchelle, or oceanside ukulele lessons. Retreats include delicious, organic local treats, and lunch.
